Unique Eateries in North Norfolk
The Inn has been a feature of South Creake since 1841 and has recently been renovated by new owners. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, as well as weekly Sunday lunches. Meals are prepared with fresh local ingredients and outdoor seating is available. We recommend sampling their wood fired pizzas while you relax on the terrace with a glass of wine. The bar serves a range of beers on tap and their wine list contains some interesting international selections by their in-house sommelier.

They have a wide variety of vegetarian options and happily cater to guests' requests and meal alterations. NoTwenty9 is a vibrant restaurant serving a range of dishes cooked on their asado grill or in their outdoor kitchen. Guests can dine in the beautiful courtyard garden or indoors near the fire pit. No 29 has an extensive wine list, a variety of beers on tap, and also offers a range of cocktails. For seafood lovers, Gurneys Fish Shop is a real treat, offering the very best in locally produced smoked fish, shellfish, and freshly caught fish. Mike Gurney has been growing oysters and smoking fish for over 40 years, and still serves delicious seafood today - everything from shrimp and lobster, to crab and mussels, either fresh or cooked as soup, pie, chowder, smoked fish, pâté, and more. The shop also sells a variety of fresh seafood caught on the North Norfolk coast.

This restaurant on the beach at Brancaster Staithe is truly one of our personal favourites. Try seafood specialities like smoked fish and oyster tempura at this rustic venue. While known for their seafood dishes, you will also find non-seafood options on the menu, all prepared using fresh, local produce. The White Horse is a beautiful and inviting pub-restaurant that offers a unique atmosphere, as well as an extensive menu of classic pub favorites and modern dishes. For an outdoor dining experience and a stunning view, book a Marshside table. Alternatively, dine in their award winning conservatory restaurant, bar area, terrace area, or courtyard.

If you’re in the mood for a more traditional pub atmosphere, head over to Jolly Sailors. This 18th century free-house pub is a great spot to enjoy some local seafood, pizza, and real ale. Their bar serves a variety of real ales from the Brancaster Brewery across the road. The large dining area is sea themed, and outside is a children's play area. The pub is family and dog friendly and was voted the UK's Best Family Pub in 2015.

Titchwell Manor Restaurants offers both an upscale and informal dining experience. This charming location houses two restaurants, the Eating Rooms and the Conservatory Restaurant. The Eating Rooms offer a stunning sea view from their terrace and a relaxed atmosphere. The Conservatory serves a traditional Sunday roast and delicious modern European food.

This 17th century pub and restaurant boasts sheltered gardens and a cozy patio, complete with timbered bars and log fires in the winter. They're famous for their steak and kidney puddings and fresh fish, and also serve a traditional Sunday roast. Their bar stocks a great selection of real ales, as well as lagers and ciders.

Tides Bistro is situated above the waters of the coast, at the famous Cromer Pier. The restaurant has received multiple Diners Choice Awards for their amazing dining experience and incredible views. Besides the breathtaking views, their menu itself makes this restaurant worth the visit. Try their popular Cromer crab salad or choose from a range of tempting light bites. They also serve a great vegan superfood salad, fish and chips, and sandwiches, which can all be enjoyed in a delightful setting above the waves.
